NTI Gymnasiet Kronhus is a personal school in central Gothenburg with about 280 students distributed across the technology program, electrical and energy program, and natural science program. We are now looking for a licensed teacher who wants to help shape our technology education and become part of an engaged and knowledgeable teaching team.

About the Position

We are looking for a teacher for a permanent position at 100%. During the remaining school year, your teaching will mainly consist of the subjects of technology, mathematics, and physics. The position includes mentorship where you follow and support a group of students in their knowledge development and study situation.

As a teacher with us, you are expected to plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching with students' learning at the center, as well as actively contribute to the collegial collaboration at the school. You will be part of the program team for technology and, together with your colleagues, develop our technology program and support our students.

Develop the Technology Subject and Our Makerspace

We offer a position with great opportunities to influence. We have a fully equipped Makerspace with, among other things, 3D printers and laser cutters that we want to be a central part of the teaching. You will have great freedom to build and structure the technology subject so that theory meets practical creation in an inspiring way.

In this work, you will not be alone; you will have support from experienced colleagues at the school as well as central lead teachers in technology who act as sounding boards in your professional development.

• Is a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach technology, mathematics, and physics at the high school level.
• Has good pedagogical skills and is a confident leader in the classroom.
• Has a genuine interest in technology and sees the opportunities of using modern equipment in the classroom.
• Is confident in the role of mentor and has an easy time building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Wants to contribute to the school's development and values close collaboration with your colleagues.
